- Plan and execute audit engagements in accordance with auditing standards
- Review working papers, financial statements, and other audit documentation prepared by staff
- Identify and communicate audit findings to clients in a clear and professional manner
- Develop and maintain client relationships through frequent communication and proactive service
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and feedback as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve clients internal controls and processes
- Stay current on industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact clients
- Provide regular reporting on the assigned client to the Audit Manager / Partner
- Plan and schedule audit engagements
- Ensure audits are completed on time
- Formal internal training done as required
- Must be South African citizen
- Own transport essential (including valid SA drivers license)
- Must have clear credit and criminal record
- Must have completed a SAICA training program and been discharged
- Must have BCom Accounting Degree completed or close to completion
- CTA 1 or 2 or registering in the next semester/year
- CA(SA)s will not be considered
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize duties
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as required
- Proficient in Caseware and Microsoft Office
