Requirements

Degree in a complementary field to systems engineering such as automation, mechatronics, robotics, or electrotechnics.

5 to 10 years of relevant experience in automation engineering.

Proficiency in PLC programming, particularly in Siemens/Tia Portal and Beckhoff systems.

Experience in programming industrial robots is advantageous.

Competence in pneumatic design and dimensioning.

Familiarity with Machine Vision technology is a plus.

Good understanding of detailed electrical diagrams, preferably using EPLAN software.

Ability to generate creative ideas for technical solutions.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Willingness to engage in hardware aspects of projects.

Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.

Demonstrated responsibility, communication skills, and team spirit.

Openness to short-term delegations for project-related tasks.

Possession of a valid driving license (category B).

Responsibilities

Developing concepts for automated systems in collaboration with colleagues from other departments (e.g., mechanical, and electrical design).

Creating offers based on developed concepts.

Electrical and pneumatic design (advantage).

Conducting electrical and pneumatic testing.

Programming PLCs or industrial robots.

Testing programs and industrial robots (advantage).

Elaborating equipment-specific documentation.J

Commissioning at customer sites.

Providing post-delivery technical assistance.

Actively participating in research and development projects.
