Purpose Of The Job
Our Client is looking for an experienced Event Coordinator. Candidate must be dynamic, passionate and can handle pressure and timelines. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Events Coordinator to join our fantastic OEM team. This person will be responsible for assisting with the running of the customer loyalty programs, customer events organizing, developing customer focused campaigns, etc Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Planning and organizing events from start to end
- Interacting with clients (internal & external)
- Dealing with all suppliers
- Coordinate and negotiate with event vendors
- Proper planning of events investigation / research
- Hosting of events
- Strengthen the image / brand of the company through the implementation of marketing and public relations tactics
- Develop relationship with media / execute press events
- Manage onsite set-up and execution of marketing events
- 2 + years in Events Planning and Coordinating, in the same or similar role in a dealership or OEM
- Reliable or own transport
- Must have Automotive experience
- Should also be able to work independently
- Energetic
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Confident and assertive
- Deadline driven (multiple deadlines)
- Computer literate MS Word, Excel & Outlook
