A leading player in the tech industry, specializing in delivering cutting-edge AWS solutions, are looking for a dynamic individual to join as an AWS Sales Operations Manager. You must be passionate about driving operational efficiency and have a knack for fostering high-performance teams.
5+ Years of experience managing operations teams, preferably within the IT industry. Strong relationship-building skills with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in project management, multitasking, and decision-making. Experience in planning and budgeting. Track record of automating and improving operations. Cloud (AWS) experience is very beneficial.

Area: Remote in South Africa (SA Candidates only)
Salary: R50 000 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the effective and efficient operations of the AWS Sales and pre-sales teams.
- Provide strategic and managerial support to drive the growth of the AWS business through automated, efficient, and continuous improvement in operations.
- Approve all incentives, commissions, etc., within the department.
- Manage, train, and motivate the operations teams to excel in their roles.
- Foster a culture of growth and high performance within the teams, emphasizing exceptional focus on internal and external stakeholders and customers.
- Communicate targets and KPIs clearly to the team and ensure understanding.
- Monitor and report on the team's performance against targets.
- Assist the AWS Sales Manager & AWS Pre-sales Manager with their requirements, customer queries, and act as a liaison between teams.
- Identify areas for operational efficiency and performance gain.
- Support the teams in expanding and growing the number of opportunities.
- Ensure projects are running according to budget and timelines.
- Ensure timely response to all new opportunities.
- Attend customer and partner events to represent the company and lead post-event meetings/follow-ups.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers and partners during events.
- Facilitate customer meetings to address their requirements effectively.
- Make decisions regarding resource allocation for campaigns and internal projects as needed.
- Implement and control departmental plans and budgets.
- Provide regular progress updates to the Management Committee.
- Driven by operational efficiency and meeting business goals.
- 5+ Years of experience managing operations teams, preferably within the IT industry.
- Cloud experience is advantageous.
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in project management, multitasking, and decision-making.
- Experience in planning and budgeting.
