The key purpose of this role is to perform a variety of specialized technical tasks in the field of agronomy and related R&D project executions.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Planning, implementation & execution of the agreed field trial program
- Generating high quality field trial information, data capturing and reporting, delivering in agreed timeframe
- Working with new digital tools, software and solutions
- Evaluate new technologies and support their implementation
- Supporting safety & quality management tasks
- Strengthening the implementation and culture of safety & quality
- Proactive interaction with key stakeholders Farmers, Breeders, Agronomist, Research Specialist
- Planning and coordination of workload of seasonal workers
- Academic National Diploma in Agriculture or BSc Agriculture
- Agronomic background or experience in field trailing
- Scientific mindset and open to explore new and innovative areas
- Ability to work independently and well organized
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Affinity for machinery and technical equipment
- Able to interpret trialing data & apply statistical tools
- Able to interpret trialing data & apply statistical tools Good English (written and spoken
- CODE EC Drivers license
