As a Senior Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in helping the company expand its reach beyond the cement industry into other key sectors. You will drive new business growth, build strong client relationships, and develop and execute a sales strategy aimed at expanding the companys automated equipment solutions into new industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the expansion into new markets by identifying opportunities in food, agriculture, chemicals, and FMCG sectors;
- Develop and implement a sales strategy focused on diversification and growth across various industries;
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding client needs and providing tailored equipment solutions;
- Meet or exceed sales targets by managing the sales process from lead generation to deal closure;
- Collaborate with the technical team to develop industry-specific solutions and ensure product adaptation for new markets;
- Effectively negotiate contracts and close deals, maintaining a focus on client satisfaction and long-term partnerships;
- Report regularly on sales performance, market trends, and provide feedback on product optimisation.
- Minimum 10 years of B2B sales experience, with a focus on selling automated equipment;
- Proven success in breaking into new markets and achieving sales targets;
- Experience in selling to industries such as food, agriculture, chemicals, or FMCG is highly desirable;
- Strong understanding of the industrial automation market and its applications across various industries;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of building relationships in new and unfamiliar markets;
- Willingness to travel to meet clients in different industries and regions;
- A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is a plus but relevant industry experience will be considered.
