Onsetter certificate

At least 5 years shaft experience

Numeracy & Literacy at NQF level 1

Competency in working at heights

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

Must be able to work in a shaft environment

Good communication skills and people management

Transporting of people and material safely from surface to underground and back to surface

Roles & Responsibilities

Adhere to the shaft schedule

Transportation of people, materials and equipment

Slinging of all shaft steelwork

Comply to the government code of signals

Good housekeeping
