Our client is one of South Africas leading international contact
centres businesses. Their inbound customer service, outbound sales and customer service, collections,
legal service, and other diverse offerings to our global customers are provided out of multiple sites
across South Africa, Australia, Fiji and Botswana.
We have exciting growth plans during 2023 and to support this we are looking to grow our vibrant Sales
Support Team.
Role
To produce professionally written proposal and pitch content that superbly articulates our client's value
proposition, their win themes and the solution narrative. This is a key role within the Sales Support team
that requires a forensic attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and ability to meet
demanding deadlines.
In tandem with producing winning bids, you will have ownership of coordinating / managing and
updating our bid knowledgebase. Content for this knowledgebase will come from bids you have written
and the library of case study material and other relevant sales collateral that you have created and
maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to client requests for information, tenders, proposals and quotations, within stated deadlines and to a high level of quality
- Writing compelling sales proposals and bids using persuasive writing skills
- Write / edit / re-write proposal responses covering a range of service components from operational delivery and service quality management to the recruitment and training of a whole new delivery team.
- Ensure win themes are articulated in such a way to meet / exceed the clients requirements.
- Deliver completed written proposal responses to the Bid Manager within agreed RFP deadlines, escalating issues as required.
- Undertake market research for the kick off and solution meetings.
- Assist the Bid Manager in developing a proposal structure.
- Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant.
- Identify all new proposal content for inclusion in the knowledgebase for re-use
- Proven skills in writing and editing proposal/document content within a complex business environment.
- Degree or equivalent years in industry
- Previous experience of success within a dynamic, fast paced team
- Ideally having worked within a sales / marketing environment
