Minimum Requirements
- Advanced diploma, degree, or relevant qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
- CCNA , CCNP, CCIE or HPE Aruba equivalent
- Fortinet (NSE 5 7).
- Aruba Clearpass NAC(802.1x)
- Azure specific certifications, Administration and networking (ideal)
- Higher certifications in the flowing key vendors. (Ideal)
- HPE Aruba (Ideal)

- Kemp (Ideal)
- ITIL certification (Ideal)
- Design and Architecture certification (Ideal)
- 3 years in a Senior network Engineer role;
- Routing, Switching, Lan and Wireless;
- HPE Aruba Networking experience;

- Provide technical assistance, guidance & training to team members.
- Assist with escalated user issues and assist in finding and resolving issues.
- Identifying new technologies which could be used to improve current tasks and duties
- Responsible for designing and implementation of the Bank network infrastructure.
- Expected to take ownership of relevant technologies according to domain or specialization.
- Coordinates projects, installations and maintenance work with outside vendors as needed.
- Maintains, monitors, and supports the infrastructure environment and/or facilities.
- Ensures that the systems and networks of the organization are secure and operational.
- Diagnoses and resolves complex hardware, software and connectivity problems.
- Proactively identify opportunities for work optimization including opportunities for automation and changes to improve performance and reliability.
- Work with project teams to understand business needs and participates in business requirements meetings as needed.
- Performs routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as backups, patch management and hot fixes.
- Monitors operating capacity in terms of (Utilization, saturation, and expected growth).
- Analyzes health check results and provides feedback.
- Participates in testing efforts and coordinates feedback of test results.
- Manage Incidents, escalations and 3rd parties and vendors.
- Perform necessary checks, apply monitoring tools and respond to alerts and level 2 - 3 production support when required.
- Works closely with Information security Teams to implement and assist with security requirements.
- Tests and executes backup and disaster recovery for infrastructure solutions.
- Monitors production, outputs, and services to ensure that SLAs, and other quality metrics, are being met. Identify problems and errors prior to or when it occurs and log all such incidents in a timely manner with the required level of detail.
- Provide system documentation and diagrams as well as maintenance documentation.
- Implement change management procedures that accommodate system architecture changes.
- Identify and document undocumented areas of a network to continuously maintain all network diagrams.
- Installs, configures and maintains approved system hardware and software components.
- Collects and maintains tracking and configuration documentation and plans.
- Works with vendors and architects to understand their technology roadmaps.
- Works across teams to ensure IT system upgrades and update deployments are implemented with minimal impact to production operation.
