MAIN OUTPUTS
- Attend to all IT related calls logged (Desktops, laptops, printers, network)
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and backups.
- Assist in the implementation of IT policies and procedures to enhance system Security and efficiency
- Basic Domain administration functions for user management
- Software installations, Configurations and Support and training to end users
- Pro-active support of all assets (printers, desktops, notebooks and telephones) to ensure optimal availability
- Assist in Asset management keeping IT Asset List up to date (printers; desktops; notebooks and telephones)
- Monitor system performance proactively to minimize downtime.
- Regularly test and update backup procedures for data integrity and conduct successful recoveries.
- Troubleshoot software issues promptly to ensure optimal system performance.
- Basic Network support on all switches and devices
The Applicant must meet the following requirements:
- CompTIA Network +, CompTIA A+
- MCDST Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician.
- Grade 12
- Code 08
- 3 years or more years in a Windows desktop and network environment
