Employee will be responsible for performing a variety of welding, fabrication, and maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires the ability to work independently and demonstrate problem-solving skills. The Handyman Welder will also be responsible for completing general maintenance tasks as needed.
MAIN OUTPUTS
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks on various metal materials
- Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, and structures as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify any issues
- Complete general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
- Assist with snow removal and landscaping tasks as necessary
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Matric (Senior Certificate)
- At least 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
