Job Description:
Carrying out housekeeping duties in the workshop.
Carrying out hazard identification and risk assessments on all performed tasks
Cutting material using straight line cutter, guillotine, cutting torch and other workshop machines.
Ensuring adherence to SHEQ standards
Operating overhead crane and forklift to move heavy equipment.
Involvement in projects for continuous improvement.
Assisting supervisor in compliance with planned maintenance system.
Identify potential hazards related to job and take action to perform all work within the framework of safe work practices provided.
Read and interpret drawings, do developments
Team Leadership Skills
Experience:
Qualified Boilermaker trade
Code 08 driver’s license.
Valid First Aid Certificate or able to obtain one.
4 years’ experience in Boilermaking / Welder in a Workshop.
4 years’ experience in repairs of LHD buckets
Good working knowledge of the maintenance practice.
Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
Must have a good understanding of the Mining Integrated HSEQ system, HIRAs and Isolation Procedures.
Good leadership qualities and good communication skills.
