The Ideal Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements
Our client, an established accounting firm in Somerset West, Cape Town, is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team.
- Reside in Western Cape for face-to-face interview
- Prior experience working in an accounting firm
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with external clients
- Possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Full bookkeeping function
- Candidate must have their own Laptop with sufficient specs (i5 CPU, 8Gb Ram, Win10 Pro) which we rent from the candidate for R200 pm over and above normal remuneration
- Deadline driven and well-organized
- Ability to cope well under pressure during monthly crunch-time periods, ensuring VAT and management reporting deadlines are met in time
- BCom Accounting or equivalent degree, or other relevant completed bookkeeping tertiary education.
- Completed SAIPA OR SAICA articles
- 1- or 2-years post-article experience within an accounting firm
- Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle OR
- Minimum 3 5 years' experience as a bookkeeper
- Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) diploma in bookkeeping
- Tech Financial Accounting Diploma (ICB)
- Certificate in Bookkeeping, Financial Accounting, or NCV Finance & Accounting
