Our client in the medical sector, sources and supplies medical products that are exported into Africa, the company has established long-standing relationships with clients in multiple sectors and is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their small team in Johannesburg.

Note: This is an onsite role, applicants must be able to travel to Fourways, Johannesburg daily. Only applicants who are fluent in Portuguese will be considered as it is a minimum requirement for this role.

Minimum Requirements

Accounting or Bookkeeping qualification

Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Bookkeeping Or Accounting

Working knowledge of VAT and VAT regulations

Portuguese as a first or second language

Duties And Responsibilities

Supplier invoicing, reconciliations, payment schedules, allocation of payments, credit applications and queries

Post bank entries and recon

VAT returns and SARS queries

Debtors recon, collection and statements

Stock reconciliation

Intercompany invoices and allocation of payments

Petty cash
