Our well-established luxury tourism and transportation company has a vacancy for a bookkeeper (half day position) available at their office in the northern suburbs, Durbanville.
Job responsibilities:
- Manage full debtors and creditors function
- Prepare books to trial balance
- Prepare payments
- Credit control
- Statutory returns
- Bank reconciliation
- Monthly reports
- Fixed asset register
- Process VIP payroll, maintain leave records
- Prepare for external audits
- Filing
- General financial administration tasks
Job requirements:
- Bookkeeping qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
- Knowledge and experience of Pastel Accounting is essential
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Sound organisation skills
- Deadline driven
- Pays attention to detail
