The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the overall financial operations of the construction firm. This will include tasks such as managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process payroll and maintain payroll records
- Prepare and process invoices
- Reconcile bank statements and handle banking transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Preferred
- Matric Required
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software - Buildsmart, Pastel, Sage
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
