Northern Suburbs based accounting practice requires a bookkeeper, the key duties will be:
Preparing and posting of month end journals
Accruals and prepayments
Accounts payable invoice capturing and reconciliation
Maintain the fixed asset register by updating and reconciling the accounts
Updating and reconciling the cashbook
Assist with the preparation of monthly management reports
Assist with year-end audit preparation
Experience in the preparation, completion and the submission of statutory returns e.g. VAT, PAYE, UIF and SDL to be performed.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Matric
Minimum of 2 years‘ experience
Bookkeeping qualification will be an advantage
Knowledge of Draftworx be an advantage
Books up to trial balance
Cash books
Capturing invoices
Payments to suppliers
