This position is remote, so you can work from the convenience of your own home. The candidate must have their own laptop and a reliable internet connection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the company using Xero
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Handle payroll and employee expense reimbursements
- Monitor and track company expenses
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing and payments
- Maintaining accurate company ledgers
- Administer daily cashflow
- Debtors Management.
- Use Excel and other tools to streamline financial procedures and administration.
- Ad hoc duties as required by the management team
- Minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience
- Must possess high-level skills in Excel and Xero, particularly in using advanced functions and pivot tables in Excel. (Mandatory Skill)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Salary: R10000 - R15000 net take home per month depending on experience
- 40 days annual leave
