Branch manager (Sales/Operations) is needed to take full responsibility for all cleaning and sales operations in the Durban and Pinetown branch.
Job responsibilities:
- Responsible for growth of branch turnover in accordance with strict targets
- Proficiency with costing modules
- Must continuously grow the business by sourcing new fixed contracts and adhoc jobs
- To be responsible for maintaining discipline by using the company’s disciplinary code and procedures, as well as attending to grievances.
- Ensure that staff are informed of changes that affect them with regard to company policies.
- Preparation of contingency plans for strike
- Health and Safety Compliance
- Act as responsible person for purposes of compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
- Compile health and safety plans, risk assessments and method statements for specific sites as required.
- Applicant will be required to comply with the company’s corporate image at all times
Job requirements:
- Experience in the cleaning industry >10 years
- Must have strong sales and operations experience (preference to candidates with exceptional sales backgrounds within the cleaning and hygiene industry)
- Must have solid current network and developed relationships within the cleaning industry that applicant can tap into for growth
