Brits: MAINTENANCE MANAGER (NON BEE)
Minimum Requirements:
-Professional and physically fit male aged 45 years maximum
-Afrikaans and English first and second languages
-Relevant industry related tertiary qualification
-Minimum 10 years Millwright or Electrician experience
-Mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic experience required
-Experienced in PLC, electric and fault finding
-Experience in brick production or related industry advantageous
-Strong management skills and experience
-Hands on approach and pro-active
-Computer literate
-Knowledge of OHS Act and Quality systems
-Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
-To start immediately / as soon as possible
-Must be willing to sign a 2 year restraint of trade
Duties:
-Full Maintenance management for paving products manufacturing plant
-Report to Operations Manager
-Provide an effective static physical environment and capacity that when brought into movement, delivers
exceptional efficiencies and reliability on an ongoing basis.
-Enforce and maintain company standards and values
-Management and control of tools and spares
-Administration and reporting.
-Compile job description for each team member, including Electricians, Fitters, Welders etc.
-Meeting schedule to cover all CSF’s.
-Design improvements wherever bottleneck is and in anticipation of failures and future bottlenecks
-Compile bi-annual reviews
-Provide training where appropriate.
-Compile reports regarding downtime, TP improvements, plant availability, staff, performance vs. budget and time allocation
Salary: R 45 000.00 – R 50 000.00 gross maximum (depending on relevant experience)
