Broker Assistant

My Client in Fourways is urgntly looking for a Broker Assistant / Insurance Administrator positions available – To start as soon as possible/

They will be required to carry out the following duties

Broker Assistant – Life Administrator

Working closely with and building relationships with the Brokers.

Taking Broker Notes: Full and comprehensive notes which are to be loaded onto an X Plan Task (Minutes of meetings)

Ensuring Broker TARGETS met Portfolio preparation & analysiso Updating schedules & Broker assistance,o Quotation, Collaboration & Preparation for the presentation of Buy & Sellso Quotations and preparation of presentations for Key Persono Preparation of Group Scheme/employee Benefit quotes o Actively assessing, Identifying and checking client portfolios and segmentation groupso Checking that all USER GROUPS are linked – Directors, Shareholders, Trusts, Trustees, Companies, Employees, Buy & Sells etc …and that Buy & Sells are linkedo FNA’s preparation and ensuring the FNA’s are prepared in advance by a minimum of 7 working dayso Identify Shortfalls & Opportunities Queries telephonic & e mail Changes to buy and sells and ensuring that Buy & Sells are reviewed annually opportunities and possible cross pollination of Database C.O.L (Counter offer letters), Deferred, Declined Creating and following up of TASKS Telephonic reviews & assisting Broker/s with general Client reviews internal & external Technical queries & Broker support on Technical issues Quotes, In-house Servicing, Upgrades and campaign follow through Liaising with Broker Consultants Client visits when necessary Identify marketing opportunities and provide Team training Keep up to date with the latest legislation and Industry Trends Continual monitoring and tracking of the new business pipeline and following up on new business outstanding requirements Attending launches & training sessions with and possibly on behalf of Brokers and if necessary bringing the info back to the office for an in-house training session General Group Schemeo Sales & after sale loading of schemes to Insurer & submissiono Checking on Medical requirements for the schemes and following up with medicals until conclusiono Group Functions & Presentationo Following up on Group scheme Leads daily, weeklyo Checking on commission statements – Group SchemeWe offer group life insurance and Medical Hospital Cover & Uniforms
He/She will report directly to the Office Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that the portfolio schedules are updated correctly, that the data base is up to date and maintained and that the reviews are up to date. The individuals need to have a strong character and depict leadership qualities.  Broker Assistant/Administrator R 15 000.00 to R 20 000 (Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience) + incentive for activities & commission/bonus based on Broker production Please email detailed CV, and contactable ref's to bernadette@cnwweb.co.za
