As the face of BSI, the role of the Client Manager is to work closely with BSI clients to help them improve their performance by auditing their systems and processes against applicable Standards. At the end of each audit, the auditor compiles a report and presents it to the client.
Location: Gauteng, South Africa with frequent travel
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Undertake management system assessments by BSI requirements.
Prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients to ensure client understanding of the assessment decision and clear direction to particular items of corrective action where appropriate.
Recommend the issue, re-issue or withdrawal of certificates, and report recommendations in accordance with BSI policy, procedures and prescribed time frame.
Establish and develop an effective partnership, which secures the commercial relationship and encourages
Provide accurate and prompt information to support services, working closely with them to ensure that client records are up to date and complete and that all other internal information requirements are met.
Maintain and develop assessment skills and technical and management system standards knowledge.
Candidate Specification:
- At least 4 years of practical working experience in an Information Technology environment.
- Registered Lead auditor for ISO27001 (other qualifications in the related sector will be evaluated as a plus )
- Bachelor's degree
- Willing to travel frequently
- Excellent presentation skills, able to present audit findings professionally and effectively
- Ability to produce high-quality professional reports at a reasonable pace, explaining technical issues and demonstrating the added value
