Overview: As a Business Analyst, your role is crucial in transforming data into insights that drive business decisions and strategies. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data to provide actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in data visualization tools, particularly Power BI and Salesforce
Key Responsibilities:
Data Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives.
- Collect and analyze data from various sources to uncover insights and trends.
- Develop data models and perform data profiling to ensure data quality and reliability.
- Design and create interactive dashboards and reports using fit for purpose tools.
- Customize visualizations to effectively communicate key metrics and trends.
- Implement best practices for data visualization and dashboard design.
- Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques.
- Provide actionable recommendations and insights to support decision-making processes.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, marketing, and operations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integration and alignment with organizational standards.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on data analytics and visualization.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI (including DAX) and other data visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView, etc.).
- Solid understanding of database management systems, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate data findings into actionable insights.
- Experience in project management and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Certification in Power BI or similar data visualization tools
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Knowledge of Data Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud within Salesforce
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM Analytics
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
