Marsh's Claims Program Delivery team is looking forward to welcoming a Business Analyst to the team. In this role, youll be supporting operational excellence change initiatives for Claims Operations in Middle East Africa and India. Youll be exposed to the Ops leadership team as you will be supporting projects that are aimed at creating capacity for our colleagues to better serve our clients. You will be collaborating with our IT partners as we design automation solutions.
In this role, you will be part of a broader Program Delivery team, comprised of project managers and business analysts all working in concert to deliver on this change program.
In the first 100 days, youll be expected to seamlessly integrate with the team and get up to speed quickly on the work done to date in preparation for project kickoff.

- Elicit, articulate and document process modeling, business requirements, description of business context using scenarios and Data / Reporting requirements
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and vendor IT stakeholders as well as internal business stakeholders and external partners, e.g. carriers.
- Analyze and research new and existing products, emerging tech solutions, procedures, and workflow needs
- Identify, verify and document functional requirements using requirements management methodology and tool
- Define and draft systems scope and objectives through research combined with an understanding of business requirements and industry standards.
- Translate business strategies and objectives into business requirements; provide traceability of business requirements to IT Solutions
- Responsible for conducting and analyzing feasibility studies/impact assessments regarding implementation of IT solutions
- Ensure that IT have a clear and complete understanding of the requirements
- Identify and resolve gaps between new and existing business processes and applications
- Ensure testing scenario results provide adequate coverage and quality solutions
- Review and ensure that requirements and processes meet established quality standards
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate training materials; supplement materials when necessary
- Deploy test environment and conduct final acceptance tests for solutions
- Definition and maintenance of an end-to-end view of Business Processes, using the ARIS/Visio tool
- Extensive business process design experience
- Domain knowledge in financial services, insurance is highly preferred and Claims expertise is extremely valued
- Change management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience with Technology as well as non-Technology projects
- Working knowledge of Agile methodology, including producing user stories and participating in sprints and daily scrums; familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean principles
- Have familiarity with low code/no code solutions and business tools such as Qlikview, Smartsheets, Tableau
- Knowledge of Planview for project/program management is desirable
- An inquisitive mind that is not afraid to question current ways of thinking
