Overview



Collinson Operation Excellence (OpEx) is a global function that extends to contact centre, finance, client operations and HR services with the goal to streamline, enhance, understand departmental processes, and improve the way people work.

Purpose of the job

  • The role of the Business Analyst is to support and enable business change across all areas of the Global Business Service and Operations (GBSO) landscape.
  • The Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting requirements from the Global Process Owner (GPO) or business lead and then performing the necessary analysis and documentation to ensure the changes are made.
  • The Business Analyst will work closely with various GBSO stakeholders across various departments.
  • The Business Analyst will work with all the GPOs and support business processes for both new products and improvement initiatives.
  • Utilise Lean 6 Sigma approach and techniques to create data driven decisions
Key Responsibilities

Project and Improvement Delivery
  • Own the delivery and accurately define and document required processes both current and suggested future views
  • Capture data elements, organise and model data to support or improve recommendations.
  • Independently lead interviews with stakeholders, facilitating workshops and other requirements gathering meetings, where required.
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders relating to current projects/assignments, including flagging any challenges or delays to achieving deadlines.
  • Analyse business objectives and align requirements captured to these business objectives.
  • Ensure that required signoffs are achieved in a timely manner to not impact deadlines.
  • Setup, structure and deliver quality process documentation and feedback, as required.
  • Provide support for the GPOs, ensuring that any clarification or additional documentation is provided in a timely fashion and does not impact the timelines for each project/assignment.
  • Contribute to and deliver considered, concise and relevant presentation to internal teams.
Team Working
  • Working as part of the OpEx community within the Group to align project deliverables, solutions, and operations.
  • Work with the GPO to ensure all requirements gathering and analysis tasks are accurately planned within the overall agreed timeframes of the projects.
  • Provide regular and accurate reports of progress and any changes to the GPO
Qualifications, knowledge, skills, and experience required

  • Demonstrable ability to document business requirements, process steps and User Stories
  • Strong networker, communicator and relationship builder who can demonstrate through examples, the effective management of stakeholder relationships at all levels internally and externally.
  • Drive and knowledge of Process improvement and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working in a global business environment with an understanding of regional variation.
  • Demonstrable understanding of business cases and supporting cost benefit analyses.
  • Exceptional written/spoken English language skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.

  • Any formal relevant qualification, certificate, diploma degree or equivalent
