Job Description:

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, to gather requirements, develop models, and deliver actionable recommendations.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field (NQF Level 7).

Proven experience as a Business Analyst

Recognized Business Analysis qualification (FTI Diploma, Agile Business Analysis, CBAP) (advantageous)

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Solid understanding of business processes, workflows, and systems

Design thinking understanding

Proficient knowledge in implementing business methodologies

Understanding of Systems Development Life Cycles (SDLCs)

Proven knowledge of general business principles and practices

Understanding IT dependencies and interdependencies, ensuring that the end-to-end business value chain is not compromised

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement.

Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across various departments.

Develop and maintain detailed documentation including business process workflows, requirements, and user stories.

Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor project progress.

Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in business analysis.
