Job Description
This role is responsible for supporting the design and production of Group Supply Chain reports and KPIs, based on a rolled-up view of operational metrics. This information will be presented to stakeholders, in a clear and meaningful format to aid exec level decision making.
As part of a newly formed Global Supply Chain function, this role will be instrumental in bringing together finance, sales and logistics data to enable data-driven and insight-led decision making, with customers at the heart.
Education
Minimum Requirements
- B.com degree or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification in Finance/ Mathematics/ Statistics
- Honours or equivalent NQF level 8 qualification (preferred/advantageous)
- 4 - 5 years experience as a Business Analyst or relevant field
- 4 - 5 years experience as a Business Analyst in a Supply Chain environment (preferred/advantageous)
- Supports the development and Implementation of BI, data and analytics strategies, policies, processes, procedures, and systems as aligned to the Supply Chain Strategy
- Use current industry trends and thought leadership on Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, BI Business Analysis and Data Exploitation to support the achievement of business objectives
- Develop organisational knowledge management and retention strategy
- Work collaboratively with Group Supply Chain teams to enable the design and delivery of a suite of reports covering all of Group Supply Chain, identifying areas of opportunity or concern in order to drive performance issues.
- Work in close collaboration across a range of stakeholders in Group and Market teams, maintaining focus on value-add activities to enable an efficient and effective reporting capability
- Support the creation of a framework to govern and manage reporting, including processes for capturing and prioritising new requests from the business, maintaining and improving existing reporting and gathering feedback from stakeholders.
- Implementation, enhancement and maintenance of a BI and Data Analytics proven practices
- Analyse, collate and reports on procurement data including spend data, costs, volumes, commodity trends on raw ingredients, fabrics, equipment, sauces, agricultural products
- Create a set of data that presents relevant information across sales and procurement that empowers the business to make decisions
- Create reporting frameworks and provide reports on logistics data relating to the full logistics value chain per market
- Provide reporting on supplier performance both globally and locally
- Manage the accurate and timely development and provision of business performance reporting as needed across the Group.
- Provide reporting across all relevant markets including Aus, NA, UK, India and Licensed markets
- Develop and distribute reports on relevant data and information to management teams to enable reliable business decision-making
- Stakeholder management from operational to senior level
- Maintaining relevant internal stakeholder relationships across business functions and markets, presenting data to Market EXCO and OPSCO for approval
- Actively manage the performance and potential of the assistant logistics specialist, providing coaching, mentorship and leadership to support problem solving, assess productivity and recommend changes where required
