Job Description
An excellent opportunity exists for a goal driven, entrepreneurial, ambitious individual in one of our Johannesburg Branches. The position of Business Consultant (also known as Broker Consultant) provides you with the opportunity to flex your business development and marketing skills while effectively determining your own rewards!
This is a sales role. It undertakes third party marketing (selling) and relationship building with brokers.
The successful candidate will get a guaranteed income for the first 6 12 months, and thereafter work for commission only.
The BC endeavours to increase Old Mutuals market share within the middle to high income earning community, by means of maximising business submission and retention to Old Mutual through:
- Marketing (sell) OMs products to brokers
- Supporting the broker in their practice (cost efficiency and compliance)
- Promoting and educating(up-skilling) brokers on OMs offering/products
- Building partnering relationships with brokers
- Promoting self-service tools and systems usage with brokers
- Partnering with the Sales Support team to deliver optimally efficient services
- Grade 12 A commercial degree/diploma will be an added advantage.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry is essential
- At least 2 years experience as a Broker Consultant or in similar role will be an added advantage.
- Valid drivers license and own transport.
- Self-starter/self-driven/self-managed Entrepreneurial/opportunistic/innovative Socially confident and skilled to communicate well
- Energy and positive attitude
