Reporting to the Commercial Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying new business opportunities in Africa for a designated product portfolio. E.g., Micro, Home, Business, Commercial and Industrial
- Facilitating the planning and designing of energy storage solutions with project manager and engineering team for end user projects.
- Forwarding quote and order requests to the internal sales team.
- Working with the project manager to manage ongoing projects until completion.
- Qualify leads by contacting prospective and current clients.
- Pursuing leads passed on from internal sales and account management teams.
- Staying up to date with new services/products and plans
- Assigning the appropriate services/products to clients
- Presenting information to clients
- Developing strategies relating to customer satisfaction and growth within the financial division of the company
- Conducting research to fulfil customers needs and to also identify new markets.
- Arranging meetings with leads and prospects
- Assisting with the promotion of the companys products/services
- Excellent handover of leads/ prospects won providing all necessary information to the account management team to ensure the smooth transition of a customer/ end user.
- Reporting on product portfolio sales performance and pipeline on a monthly basis.
- Negotiating offtake agreements/ MOUs with customers for signing between the management of Freedom Won and the target company.
- Grade 12/Matric
- +- 3 years work experience within the renewable energies/energy storage industry
- Understanding the Customer/ End User/ target segments
- Relevant experience as a Business Development Consultant
- Experience within the sales and marketing fields
- Exceptional customer service attitude
- Drivers licence and own car
- Proven sales track record
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent at building rapport with customers
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Effective presentation skills
- BA/BSc/BCom in Business, Marketing or a related field
- Self-Motivated.

- Degree/Diploma e.g. BTech/BEng/NDEEN
