Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential business opportunities in the renewable energy sector in the Western Cape region
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and potential clients
- Create and present business proposals, including feasibility studies, financial projections, and project plans
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement sales strategies and marketing campaigns
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and threats
- Prepare and deliver presentations at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
- Monitor and track sales activities, pipeline, and revenue targets
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development activities and results
- Formal Microsoft Office Suite training
- 3 Years of experience in a similar position
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the renewable energy industry
- Strong understanding of the renewable energy market, including solar, wind, and hydropower technologies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in CRM software
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Western Cape region
- Salary: negotiable.
