Job Title: Business Development Coordinator

What we are looking for:
- Book sales appointments and respond to inbound enquiries for World Challenge on the phone and via email. Cold calling makes up a large percentage of the role.
- Liaise appropriately with Business Development team to help drive the outcome of a booking form, this may involve booking further meetings with the same or different contacts on behalf of the BD team.
- Holistically support any new sales activity before and during the launch process, which will include post presentation emails and calls to students and guardians.
- Occasionally support sales and marketing efforts for Project Independence.
- Collate data to report weekly on KPIs to ensure visibility on conversion rates, quality of leads and individual performance to better inform lead generation planning and the teams performance management.
- Compile competitor profiles and disseminate intel updates on the main providers which should include detail on pricing, marketing material, product and sales tactics.
- Cold call prospect schools.
- Ensure the schools database is maintained and work with the Senior Business Development Manager to pro-actively develop customer profiling (segmentation of market).
- Compile data sets for prospective client groups as and when required.
- Conduct follow up to e-campaigns.
- Use LinkedIn premium to build network, find contacts, and generate leads.

- Be able to work contracted hours Monday Friday, 09:00 17:00 (10:00-18:00 Daylight savings).
- Potential opportunities to partake in our overseas expeditions, subject to performance, successful nomination, and available appointments.
- Competent Outlook email user
- Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Happy with technology, willing to embrace various social media channels (LinkedIn, FB, Insta)
- Be confident with numbers and analytics with the ability to interpret numerical data and sales figures.
- A working knowledge of e-campaign platforms
- Competence handling incoming/outbound telephone calls.
