Minimum Requirements
- B-Degree plus Post Graduate qualifications
- At least 5 years in a Senior Commercial Management role in the Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearing and Contract Logistics industry.
- Proven track record in leading Commercial teams focussed on customer retention, new sales growth, and product development in the International Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearing and Contract Logistics industry.
- Customer contracts.
- Corporate branding and marketing experience are required.
- Solid working knowledge of global supply chain solutions development in International Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearing, and Contract Logistics.
- Extensive knowledge of sales, business development and planning to achieve the company's annual growth targets.
- Thorough knowledge of the International Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearing operations, regulations, and legislations impacting the industry.
- Extensive knowledge in managing tenders, RFQ's/ RFIs/RFPs.
- Customer relationship management and how and where to extend the Company's products and services.
- Understanding of cost and revenue drivers and rate structures.
- Understanding legal and contractual terms and liabilities.
