Hello an exciting new opportunity has just become available in our Hollard Insure Broker Distribution Risk FinanceArea. We are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager.

Role Objectives

To drive and grow the development of Alternative Risk Transfer (HART) Solutions for Hollard Insure in line with overall Hollard Insure strategic intent

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct and offer tailored Alternative Risk Transfer Solutions and products to clients
  • To service and manage direct clients, Risk Finance consultants and intermediary relations on key accounts to retain existing business and ensure profitable organic growth
  • Develop new business opportunities in line with divisional budget objectives and overall Hollard growth aim
  • Develop and leverage any underwriting opportunity to blend HART Solutions with Hollard Underwriting Capacity
  • Implement/ manage and audit Binder Agreement (underwriting) for specific portfolio of control in line with regulatory framework
  • To provide service excellence to internal & external customers
  • Sustain and develop profile in the insurance industry
  • Identify and develop product enhancements in accordance with market development, client requirements and/or intermediary inputs
  • Communicate new developments/trends in ART space/markets. Local & International developments
  • Prepare and execute business development strategy
Required Knowledge And Experience
  • Understanding of SAM Capital Modelling
  • 5 10 years experience in insurance
  • FAIS compliant
  • Business development
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good work ethic and strong goal orientation
  • Strong relationship management and networking skills

Educational Requirements
  • BCom or similar
  • Insurance/Risk Management qualification
