With 16 Distribution Centers, 250 vehicles, and over 1 million cubic meters of goods moved annually, JD Supply Chain Services is poised for significant growth in the years to come. We're seeking a Manager who can help us achieve our ambitious goals through smart, strategic planning and execution.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy that maximizes our market share and revenue
- Responsible for identifying new business opportunities
- Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders across industry, that would lead to growth opportunities and to stay current on issues impacting business
- Driving growth through targeted marketing and sales campaigns
- Providing meaningful strategic advice to retain and grow their business through integrated solutions
- Facilitates alignment and effective communication within sales and internal/external key partners/customers and promptly resolve any conflict to encourage harmonious and productive interaction
- Initiating and coordinating development of Action Plans to penetrate New Markets
- Accurate and efficient Management of Marketing Statistics and Reports
- Continuous Research of Market Trends in the Industry to ensure the Company remains abreast
- Strive to challenge Status-Quo and find smarter ways to do things for Clients
- Monitors and takes necessary measures to ensure adequate pipeline of opportunities and demand generations for sustainable growth
- Utilizes a disciplined approach for successful solution selling, establishing and maintaining accurate, timely and documented sales revenue forecasting procedures, providing required updates to Supply Chain executive management
- Develops and applies an in-depth understanding of Supply Chain processes/ procedures and sales tools/systems as well as enterprise market, including industry, marketplace, strategies and trends, competitors and competitive tactics to develop an effective long-term sales strategy and plan
- Stays current and informed on all new campaigns, understanding their objectives and relevance, communicating and ensuring stakeholders understands their role in making campaigns successful
- Proven track record of success in business development, marketing, and sales within the logistics or supply chain industry
- Relevant Degree in Logistics ,Sales or Marketing will be advantageous
- Minimum 10 Years' in a Managerial Position
- Have an established network of Applicable Key Individuals within the Industry
- You should be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills as well as a deep understanding of the Southern African market
