Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join their team in Pretoria, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving business growth by developing new client relationships and enhancing existing ones. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Job Description
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the firm's client base and increase market share.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and viable income streams.
- Network and build relationships with potential clients, industry professionals, and business partners.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring compliance with the firm's policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
- Track and report on business development activities and their outcomes.
- Establish a healthy pipeline of leads via various channels, including cold calling, social media etc.
The ideal candidate will fit the following profile:
- Preferably a degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing,
- Proven track record of working with entrepreneurs
- Proven track record of generating new business and achieving revenue growth.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ideal sales experience in sales of accounting services.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex accounting services.
