Business Development Manager (ICT) - Cape Town
Job Description
- Increase market share
Responsible for the development of New Business opportunities in line with the company vision and values within the SP Channel and directly with customers.
Plan, strategize and execute to expand both the Service Provider base b and increase revenue.
Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual Sales targets.
Proactively acquire 8 new business appointments on a weekly basis
Consistently driving all aspects of Sales which are:
Minimum of 40 Suspects per month
Minimum of 200 Cold Calls per month
Minimum of 10 new Business acquisitions per month.
Analyse the local economic environment that the branch operates within and identify new business opportunities
Translate marketing / sales plans into individual team performance objectives.
Manage the sales process and provide leadership for the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Ensure profitability of portfolio
Ensure that portfolio is profitable by writing quality business.
Identify and create opportunities for cross and up-selling.
Manage and reduce churn via service providers / customers
3.Build and manage the relationship between company and its new and existing clients
Identify key decision makers and build strategic relationships
Create business development opportunities by identify specific client needs and providing appropriate solutions.
Ensure efficient management in order to achieve the churn and growth strategy
Assist customers with project and technical queries
Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue
Compile and present Proposals and Presentations
Brand ambassador
Ensure that the company brand is positioned positively in the market
- Operational effectiveness
Develop and manage processes and systems to ensure efficient and effective integration of new business.
Approve new business according to set standard.
Assist and resolve all client queries within 24hrs and feedback to all parties
Manage weekly/monthly call cycles
Compile Monthly Reports (Forecast / Pipeline Report, Churn and Sales Report etc.)
Effective Diary Management
Build and maintain relationships with existing client base
Attend weekly/daily sales meeting
To market Company products:
Participates in company and group exhibitions,
Preparation and submission of tenders
Attend meetings with technical subject experts within the customer organisation
Keep abreast of competitor activities
Manage and coordinate events both internal and external for the Service Provider Channel and or End customer.
Adhere to ALL company policies and procedures
Build rapport and work in synergy with internal personal and departments.
Job Requirements
Valid Driver's licence and own vehicle
Matric
Certification in Sales and/or relevant Products.
Min 3 -5 years in communications sector and sales experience (proven track record)
Experience / exposure within a hunter role is an advantage
