Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan, facilitate and execute the delivery of the business growth and store development strategy
• Creating and managing a project plan to ensure project delivery and execution within the defined project scope, schedule, and budget
• Provide input into the Store Development business plan in terms of realizing the long-term business growth strategy.
• Managing critical project documentation and record keeping
• Actively seek and explore new growth and opportunities through a process of identification, evaluation, prioritization and implementation.
• Supporting and liaising with departments, ensuring that all initiatives and pilots are focused on supporting improved business processes, customer experience and enhance productivity in stores.
• Identify, evaluate and draft the store development plan.
• Negotiate new business opportunities and terms and conditions on behalf of the company for new business acquisitions / opportunities with the shopping mall operator.
• Understand the different scenarios, their impact on existing business, present strategies and implementation strategies.
• Analyse and evaluate all factors that may influence the capital required for and the potential return on investment of new business opportunities.
• Analyse our competitor's business and the dynamic impact that they may have on new opportunities.
• Build networks in search of acquisitions and new business opportunities.
• Ensure that suitable business growth opportunities are exploited to their fullest potential.
• Drive the implementation plan for new business initiatives and ensure that the necessary capacity is available for the delivery thereof..
• Work closely with the internal legal department in drafting agreements to deliver on negotiated contracts.
Qualifications:
• Business Management, Marketing Management or related diplomaSkills:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail industry as a store development or business development position•
Have existing contacts with shopping malls
• Proven leadership•
Understanding of legislation and regulation
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Budgeting and Project estimation skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
• Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle
