We are looking for spontaneous energetic, strategic business
development officer (BDO) who resides in Soweto, Lenasia, Mondeo, Johannesburg and surrounding areas.
Job requirements:
- Matric.
- Preferably a lady.
- You will represent a hardware store, so knowledge on hardware and especially building material is vital.
- A candidate needs to have experience in credit sales, marketing and have exceptional people skills as you will do presentations to specific target markets with your team.
Job responsibilities:
- Sales promotion
- Canvassing in government institutions, companies with high volumes, clinics, taxi ranks and networking with locals
- Weekly promotions
- Distribute promotional material for the store to sell building material on credit
- Converting leads to sales through follow ups with customers
- Reaching monthly sales targets
- Customer service
- Ensure in-store product knowledge
- Ensure proper product knowledge for Real People
- Capturing on ORCA
- Ensure marketing material is visible and presentable
- Know and apply RP business
- rules, collect relevant documentation
- Pre check/qualify the client to see what products is available on ORCA
- Complete credit applications for clients according to business rules and
- affordability
- File application accordingly.
- Do regular checks to see if client received their goods (signed
- POD’s) and do follow ups accordingly.
- Weekly/daily actions plans to be submitted to area manager.
