OVERALL PURPOSE

This an exciting opportunity for someone early into their career who is seeking to gain experience in the FinTech industry. You will be joining a growing Business Development Team where you will be exposed to various opportunities and processes.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual that has a good understanding of the Trade Credit landscape within South Africa. You will work closely with the Lulapay Team to develop, implement and manage an end-to-end sales process to attract, onboard and nurture partners for one of Lulas latest innovative products, Lulapay.

Lulapay partners with B2B distributors and suppliers in order to offer flexible terms to their customers on invoices and statements. You will be the driving force in helping Lulapay scale quickly and successfully through partnerships.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Obtain an in-depth understanding of the Lulapay product and processes
  • Research and identify the relevant industries and markets to target
  • Develop an outreach strategy and onboarding process to successfully attract and onboard partners
  • Build and maintain a steady pipeline of leads
  • Roll out and adapt the strategy in order to find product-market fit within the relevant industries
  • Nurture great relationships to encourage growth with each partner

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably within the trade credit environment
  • Ability to conduct successful industry and market research
  • Experience in generating leads through manual and automated means
  • Have a great EQ and be able to conduct themselves well virtually and in person
  • Intelligent and hard working
