Business Insights Consultant

Our client in the Banking Industry is looking for a Business Insights Consultant to Join their team. The successful candidate will be required to aid the team in understanding its data through business intelligence tools, data analysis & story-telling and strategic initiative setting.

Key Responsibilities

Comprehend, interpret, and present financial, risk, client, and other relevant data.
Ensure data accuracy and leverage it to provide analytics that support business objectives.
Consolidate, analyze, interpret, and deliver high-quality business intelligence and analysis.
Assist stakeholders with data insights, query resolution, and ad hoc data analysis.
Generate targeted reports and presentations that summarize findings and recommendations to inform stakeholder decision-making.
Lead and oversee team operations and deliverables.
Handle people management and conflict resolution, including interactions with senior stakeholders.
Address stakeholder needs and drive business strategy by providing insights and managing data analysis and interpretation on strategic issues and business challenges.
Identify and recommend effective ways to enhance business processes and systems, adding value to CIB.
Utilize Power BI for data gathering and storytelling.

Minimum Requirements

Essential Qualifications NQF Level 7
6+ years experience in a financial/analytical role within the financial industry
Power BI proficient
Data analysis
Data-story telling
Excel
Power BI proficient
