Minimum Requirements
- 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role
- Experience in Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, and building complex dashboards.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, power query, data modelling, and automation (VBA/Macros). and dashboard building.
- Experience with ETL processes and integrating multiple data sources.
- Understanding of statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
- Bachelors degree in business, Finance, Data Science, or related field
- Experience with SQL
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools & methods.
- Familiarity with other data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik)
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Gather, clean, and analyze large data sets through automations such as power query to extract valuable business insights
- Create, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and excel
- Utilize Advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, visuals and data modelling, to perform in-depth data analysis.
- Conduct financial analysis to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
- Present key findings and actionable insights to stakeholders to inform business decisions through live reporting
- Track and measure the effectiveness of business initiatives through detailed performance analysis.
- Develop and optimize data flows in Power BI and Excel for forecasting, trend analysis, and scenario planning.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of data sources.
- Help Formulate a Data flow that allows easy access to required data for ops team to build out ad hoc reports
- Partner with different departments (e.g., finance, sales, operations) to provide analytical support and develop customized reports.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to understand business challenges and offer data-driven solutions.
- Continuously review business processes and suggest improvements based on data analysis.
- Leverage automation tools in Excel, Power Bi and other tool you will introduce to enhance reporting efficiency.
To identify business strategy, processes, products, road mapping in the context which the business operates
- Project Management
- Analysis of trends and patterns.
- Daily/weekly/monthly management reporting.
- Ensure a quality outcome is achieved. Take caution in preparing the details relevant to the process. Follow process in order to ensure high quality output
- Understand business problems and provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Analyze business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain a Master List of all reports being worked on that includes timeframes, report names, folder stored in, person responsible and department using the report.
- Assumes and performs other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, but which are logically and properly inherent to the position.
- Formulates objectives and implements plans consistent with the long-term interests of the organization. Interprets organizational strategy and translate this into tactical action plans
- Excellent communication skills: Familiarity with other data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik)
