Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the business for the Product lines Cosmetic Solutions & Active Ingredients, both technically and commercially. Also potentially involved in handling the business of other Product lines (e.g. Cleaning Solutions) by mandate of the respective PL Head
- Leading commercial negotiations with existing and potential customers both digital and via face-to-face presence
- Achieving sustainable growth by proactive acquisition and management of customer projects within the cosmetic industry
- Building continuous knowledge around the target industry and developing solid business relationships with key decision makers
- Monitoring and reporting about the latest market trends, customer developments, and competitor activities
- Introducing and presenting new products to customers, developing suitable promotion activities
- Creating a market plan for the respective region to identify future potentials and ways to market including distributor selection
- Leading the distribution activities in the region. Developing a positive working relationship and agreeing on targets
- Recognizing and managing customer problems and needs
- Managing other miscellaneous customer issues including complaints, regulatory requests, audits, etc.
- Promoting a favourable image of Evonik and the Business line to all external contacts and representing Evonik at all relevant exhibitions and trade fairs
- Close communication with headquarter in Germany
- Successfully completed university degree
- Three to five years professional experience in the personal care industry, executing a technical service function with strong sales & marketing background
- Expertise in dealing with all type of cosmetic products and applications is highly beneficial
- Fluent English skills, German is a plus. Danish, Finish or Swedish skills are welcome
- Open to cultural differences and able to adapt to country specific customs and norms within the given region
- Willingness to travel up to 50% nationally and internationally
