Reporting to the General Management you will be responsible for ensuring implementation and compliance of the Board’s strategic policies, as well as for the supervision and results of the various business units of the Group. As the responsible for all operations, you will define and implement action plans and improvement measures regarding the products offered by the company while increasing the profitability of the business areas. You will have to submit business and budget plans and ensure operational and financial performance for each of the areas. You will monitor and control internal audits, ensure the achievement of KPI`s and prepare performance reports to be submitted regularly to General Management. You will also have a high intervention in the promotion of the business, managing the pipeline, new client prospects and business opportunities.
We are looking for a professional with a degree in Management and about 10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a multinational environment. We value knowledge and experience in the Food Industry, Mass Distribution, Retail or Logistics. You will have to have a strategic and operational profile, with strong leadership and business development skills. It is important to know the South African market reality and have the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
