Job description
Candidates must have legal authorization to work in South Africa and currently reside in Cape Town.
Zenysis is seeking a Business Operations and Strategy (BizOps) Manager who will work closely withthe COO and leadership across the organization to drive critical planning and operational projects. This is an expansive role that will touch most parts of the organization either through routine planning (OKR and strategic planning cycles) or via special projects at the direction of the COO. The ideal candidate has experience analyzing parts of a business to understand opportunities for better systems and processes.
We are looking for someone who has had experience with the Big 5 or other top consulting firms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in administration and operations management, preferably in a technology startup or similar fast-paced environment.
- Experience in managing operational aspects of projects, including project planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles and experience in budgeting, expenditure monitoring, and vendor management.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing operational processes, policies, and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to identify operational issues and recommend solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
