Our company is looking to employ a full time business sales analyst. The incumbent will be responsible for analyzing sales data from our customers and supplying the information to our management team in specific formats.
Job responsibilities:
- Analysis of weekly and monthly through the till sales data to identify opportunities and trends.
- Analysis of market competitor pricing and promotions.
- Coordinate and manage sales data to outsourced sales staff.
- Implement sales promotions data under direction of the Category managers
- Liaise with factory Supply Chain manager to ensure stock availability for all promotions.
- Engage in projects as directed by management i.e. new product development.
- Creating and developing data charts for the category management teams
Job requirements:
- Minimum qualification required is a Matric with a minimum B Mark in Maths/Accounting with proven expert proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, especially Pivot table functions as well as Microsoft PowerPoint or any database analysis software.
- Preference will be given to Financial and Supplychain, B.Comm graduates or applicants with associated qualifications.
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a detail online Excel proficiency test.
- Based on the individual scores, invited interview candidates will also be required to complete a 15 min onsite Excel proficiency test using live data, prior to the interview.
