Job Description & Summary
A career in our Oracle Risk Assurance practice, within Information Technology Risk Assurance will allow you to develop and apply strategies that help clients leverage enterprise technologies so they can get a higher return on their investment, mitigate risks, streamline processes, and find operational inefficiencies. The work revolves around creative problem solving and applying innovative technologies to enable strategies that increase the value of the applications that run our clients business, mitigate risk and find operational inefficiencies.
Our focus is on creating effective and efficient design for the most important business, security and compliance processes for our clients. We touch on aspects of application security, areas prone to fraud and financial misstatement, and streamline processes that are part of our clients core business so they can get a higher return on this key investment. Using innovative, and proprietary technologies, we help to bridge the gap between business stakeholders, compliance functions and Information Technology teams to assist in understanding how to embrace new ways of working, while limiting their financial and operational risk profile. We use knowledge of financial system design, risk mitigation, business process design, data integrity, security and use of data analytics.

We have an opportunity for an experienced individual who will be responsible for delivery of Business Continuity Management services (programme development and audit) to our clientele in both public and private sector.
Qualifications / Certifications required:
Degree in IT or Risk Management Preferred
Course in BCM - Preferred
Certification by the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI) advantageous
ISO 22301 Lead Implementer / lead auditor certification - advantageous
Experience required:
Minimum 3 to 5 years active working experience in Business Continuity Management / resilience inclusive of disaster recovery. Must be able to understand and articulate the BCM lifecycle and make it practical for implementation.
Must have understanding of the linkage between risk management and BCM.
Responsibilities of role:
As this is a consulting role and not limited to one industry, the successful candidate must have the ability to:
Identify scope and help close additional projects at existing clients and new clients.
Management engagement / reviews from planning to execution and reporting
Communicating reportable findings and recommendations to senior management
Ensuring quality is maintained on engagement files
Training / mentoring junior staff
Skill sets required:
Assist in the delivery of BCM programme development from end to end inclusive of disaster recovery. Must have the capability to articulate each of the BCM lifecycle stages. Must be comfortable to present subject matter with minimal support.
Build and maintain client relationships
Assist in business development
Ability to identify opportunities and assist in the conversion of such opportunities
