Business Unit Manager (Data)

As a Business Unit Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations, the short and the medium-term objectives of a Business Unit. As the head of their Data & Analytics team, a strong knowledge of data technologies, project

methodology and commercial knowledge is required.

Engineers. The Role Required Strong Technical Pre-sales Experience

• Set and translate business requirements into Technical BI requirements
• Build an understanding of the clients business to be able to better service customers and the business objectives.
• Establish and maintain the company's data strategy in line with the department and organisations strategy and objectives.
• Develop Data Analytics Solutions based on requirements from business owners.
• Build and propose client proposals and quotes.
• Technical knowledge to support you and the teams pre-sales activity:
• Microsoft SQL Server and on-premisses integration and reporting tools
• Microsoft cloud analytics platforms including Azure SQL, Synapse and integration tools
• Microsofts visualisation technologies including Power BI
• Emerging technologies around Microsofts cloud analytics stack including Machine Learning, Databricks, big data and data governance tools such as Purview.
