We are looking for an IFRS technical accountant who wishes to build a career within the Finance department specialising in short- and long-term insurance.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate must have strong IFRS knowledge and previous experience in IFRS reporting and assisting with complex accounting transactions. The responsibilities of this role will include the following:
- Research trending accounting matters;
- Providing IFRS technical guidance for projects in the Group;
- Assist with the implementation of new IFRS standards and/or amendments issued that affects the group;
- Assist with training of relevant IFRS topics to the Group;
- Review of group financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS. The candidate will report into the Group Financial [URL Removed]
- CA (SA) with minimum of 3 years' post qualification experience in an advisory [URL Removed]
