We have an opportunity for individuals in both our Johannesburg and Cape Town offices who want to become well-rounded chartered accountants through an accredited Training Office. This is a 3-year training contract offered at Old Mutual. The Old Mutual Chartered Accounting Training programme (OMCAT) provides trainees with broad exposure in all spheres of finance as prescribed by SAICA.
Technical Competencies and Leadership Skills:
In addition to the technical competencies mentioned above, OMCAT ensures that
trainees obtain the necessary professional skills to become effective business leaders. Trainees undergo various leadership development courses provided by Old Mutual, SAICA and other external service providers
Requirements
- BCom/BAcc
- PGDA/CTA
- Strong detail orientation coupled with the ability to see the big picture
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High levels of energy, drive, creativity and innovation.
- Self-starter who shows initiative.
