Your Role:
As a vital part of our team, you will:
- Conduct life insurance sales via telephone.
- Meet or exceed sales goals.
- Comply with Quality and Compliance guidelines to reduce business risk.
- Ensure high operational efficiency through effective productivity management.
- Be flexible and adaptable to meet the evolving operational needs of the business.
- Expertly handle sales objections.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Stay informed about industry developments and trends through self-education.
- Uphold the FAIS Fit & Proper qualification requirements with integrity.
Requirements
- Completion of Grade 12.
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in outbound sales within a call center environment, specifically in selling long-term insurance, including meeting sales targets.
- At least 1 to 2 years of consistent employment at a single company.
- Proven track record of selling life insurance to new clients in a call center setting for no less than 1 year.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a call center environment, with a focus on selling long-term insurance products.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
- Fluency in English and one other South African official language is required.
- Clean criminal and credit history.
- Adherence to the FAIS Act and compliance with Fit & Proper qualification requirements.
- Preparedness to work overtime as needed to meet sales targets.
- Proficient in computer use.
Industry Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of the Financial Services Industry's legislation and regulatory framework.
- Knowledge of sales processes and the service industry, with specific expertise in outbound sales.
- Capability to handle outbound telesales effectively.
- Skills in servicing inbound client queries and requests.
- Proficiency in administration, processing, quality control, compliance, and accreditation.
- Effective communication and the ability to work independently.
- Adaptability to different situations with a high level of independence.
- Goal-oriented with a focus on action and results.
- Persuasive skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to plan, organize, build, and maintain relationships.
